Improvements to Gliderol Roll-A-Glide Insulated Garage Roller Doors

With recent improvements to the Gliderol insulated garage roller door, we thought we would take a look at some of the changes that have now made this product a very appealing physical security solution for homeowners looking for all the benefits of a high quality product at an affordable price.

Faster Installation Times

Gliderol have changed the control box and wireless safety edge from PDT to one that has been designed and manufactured in house. Still providing the same great safety features and courtesy light, the new system is easier and faster to install.

New Finishes

In addition to the choice of standard painted colours, Gliderol now offer the option of a painted wood grain effect door at the same price. These are available in Golden Oak, Irish Oak, Rosewood and Nut and look simply amazing. In fact when compared next to the laminated finishes that cost around 20% more, are virtually impossible to tell apart. The other benefit of this painted wood grain finish is that the door can also be mounted externally. This is not possible with a laminated door as the back face is brown.

Change in Lead Times

To ensure costs are kept to a minimum so that savings can be passed on to you the customer, Gliderol have changed their delivery times for the insulated garage doors. Orders for painted doors that are received by close of business on a Tuesday are normally manufactured that week and then delivered direct to site the following week. All laminated colours now have an extended 2 week lead time.
