Installation Position

The most common way of installing the Seceuroglide sectional door is inside the garage in an “internal face fixed configuration”. This is where the tracks fix to the back of the opening and the horizontal runners hang from the ceiling.

This method of installing the door will allow the maximum drive through width and height to be achieved however in order to be able to install your new garage door in this manner it is essential the space shown in the options below is available. Where these requirements are not met the doors can still be installed however the sizes etc may have to be modified to suit. Seceuroglide Sectional Elite Lifting Gear

This type of lifting gear employs side springs mounted to the horizontal rails that will aid the user operating the door.

  • Manufactured in made to measure sizes (in mm increments) up to 3000mm (wide) x 2250mm (high)

  • Minimum Side Room Required: 45mm (90mm if the guides are to be fully behind the opening).

Where garages are built with a limited amount of headroom or where the presence of low beams, pipes or lights may pose an issue the Seceuroglide Compact is the option to go for as the springs are mounted at the back of the horizontal tracks therefore take minimal amounts of space.
