If you are looking to place an order for one of the Seceuroglide insulated roller shutter garage doors then you will need to pay special attention to the ordering sizes if you want to make sure you get it right the first time around as mistakes will prove extremely expensive.
Please note that whilst we are aware that this task may seem a little daunting for the uninitiated, the process is really simple and we are happy to advise you through the process. We can even send you a drawing where required to demonstrate how we have understood your given measurements or if you wish to send us a photo of your garage that will make the job even easier as we can check for problem areas you may encounter.
What information will we need to know?
During your initial enquiry we will ask you for a few simple measurements to give us a brief understanding of your opening sizes and specific space restrictions. With this in mind please have the following measurement available.
Structural Opening Width – To find this simply measure from one side of the brickwork opening to the other.
Structural Opening Height – Simply measure from the floor to the underside of the lintel.
Space Available Each Side of the Opening – This is taken from the edge of the opening to the sidewall.
Headroom – Take the measurement from the underside of the lintel to the nearest obstruction above.
If you are still unsure please take a look at our measuring guide where there is a handy video showing how to do this.
Once we have this information we will be able to work out the best door to suit your garage and provide you with a provisional quote based on the following models. If you have a specifice preference please let us know.
At this stage, we can put these details into a basic plan and elevation drawing and send it to you by email for your approval as shown below.
As you will see from the above drawing the sizes are pretty much self explanatory however here is a full break down of their meanings.
